Zoning in the middle Level 1

This quick workout is for beginners and focuses on bringing awareness to the abdominal muscles.  The purpose is to create base strength and conditioning in all the various muscles that make up the abdomen.  The moves are easy to follow and the workout is only about 10 minutes in length.

Zoning in the middle Level 2

This 10 minute workout is  a great way to continue to challenge the abdomens.  Getting strong well developed muscles is not about how many crunches you can do, but how well you can do them and how well you can isolate them.  You have to be able to isolate muscles in order to integrate muscles.  In order to challenge the muscles you need to train them in different movement patters, not just do more, more, and more.

Basic workout tips from our XB-Fit Life Style Coach

Zoning in the arms Level 1

Great looking arms are achieved by training the muscles in different planes of motion.  The purpose of this brief workout is to build base strength and endurance in the biceps, triceps, and shoulders.  Many times the shoulders are neglected, but this is the muscle group that really balances out great looking arms.  The reps are higher in this video so the weights used need to be a little lighter to start.

Zoning in the arms Level 2

Once you feel that you are getting some strength and definition to your arms, step it up.  In order to progress you have to challenge and don't be afraid to lift a little heavier as long as you are ready and you are being safe.  This quick workout steps it up a bit by decreasing the rep range, increasing the weight, and changing the approach to target the biceps, triceps, and shoulders.

Zoning in the middle

 

This 20- 25 minute workout is a great way to start and build full body muscle strength and endurance.  It's the muscle that we keep on our bodies that that keeps our metabolizing going and gives us that firm feeling in our arms and legs.

Body Conditioning

Feeling winded gong up the stairs?  Start conditioning the respiratory system with this 25 minute cardio workout.  You can step up or modify your intensity to your fitness level.

Zoning Lower Half

That back side feeling a little flat from sitting at the desk all day?  Do this 10 minute workout a few times a week to feel the glutes, hamstrings, and thighs become firm and strong.

Kristine Bjonstad

Kristine Bjornstad is one of the Life Style Fitness Coaches for XB-Fit All Natural.
For almost 10 years Kristine Bjornstad’s career has been in the health and fitness industry. She graduated from Ohio University in 2000 with a double major in Marketing and Sport Industry and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, Kristine moved to Newport Beach, CA. and began her profession as a personal trainer.   A year later she became certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
The following year she started her own personal training businessKristine moved back to the east coast in 2005 and managed the training department for CORE Fitness located in Charlotte, NC. In 2006 she began her extensive training with Peak Pilates and started personal training under PERFECT FORM in Lake Norman, NC.   In June 2008, one of the most exciting times in her career took place when she opened the doors to her own studio PERFECT FORM, offering personal training and Pilates.
Kristine’s continuing education through the C.H.E.K Institute (as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach and Exercise Coach) provides her the knowledge to customize her clients programs. She helps them to restore balance to their bodies and balance to their lives.
In Kristine’s personal time she regularly practices Pilates, yoga, strength training, running, and mountain biking. A few of her personal and professional highlights include: participating in the Huntington Beach Half Marathon, finishing in the Top 7 of the Orange County Figure Competition, being featured a few times in Pilates Style Magazine, and appearing several times on FOX News discussing nutrition and fitness tips.
